on fri night the 63k lt1 in my car spun rof bearings 5-7 ,was runnin a 94 mustang wit a 347 kit in it was a close run i sprayed it and about the 1k mark i lost pressure and got the knockin i shut her down got her home dropped the oil all i see is silver streams of metal in clean motor oil so i drop the pan to find num 5-7 rods loose as hell and hammered .just ordered a scat 255 forged rotating assembly along wit new cam an **** lets see what it has on reassembbly

 

damn lt1s and their rod bearings. thats what happend to me. put a cam in drove about 75 miles got on it one good time and spun a couple rod bearings. so im in the middle of a build. wonder if a HIGH PRESSURE pump will help.

 

My rod bearings went also, you may want to research before you jump in head first. But if you do not want to thats ok also.
