SES On and Off

I was driving to college today, and the SES light came on out of the blue. I drove another 8 miles or so, checked under the hood, etc, found nothing. The car was running fine. I turned it off, then back on, and the light came on again. After I was in class about 7 hours, I came back out, started it up, and no light. I drove home, about 20 miles with no light also. Any guesses? Thanks.

No need to guess. Because you have a 1993, you can short two pins in the ALDL connector, and flash the DTC codes on the SES light. Even though your light went off and didn't come back, the code is still stored in the ECM, and will be there for a while until it clears itself.
