SES light on stroker...suggestions?
I have to start it up while slightly giving it gas, or or it won't start, i think it may be loading up on fuel when i shut it off. When it runs for a bit and i rev it a little (to get the excess gas burnt up) the idle smooths out, but if i don't it misses and runs HORRIBLE. (until i drive it a bit and it warms up)
Once it gets warmed up and smoothed out, the ses light comes on. It has a mail order tune from carolina auto masters, OBD-1 swap, and i'm gonna get it dyno tuned from them but i just haven't had the chance to drive it down there yet. What could be throwing the code? the roller rockers? i have an lt4 knock sensor. The rear o2s are gone, but with the obd 1 swap that can't trip a code right? somethings up, i'm sure that someones built a stroker and had ses probs.

Please use the engine specific forums for questions like this... in this case "LT1 Tech". Might also be a good idea to get it scanned and find out what is turning the light on, rather than asking people to guess. The fact that its a "stroker" doesn't really seem to be the factor.
