SES light flashed on..

My 94 z28. I was going down the road, and my SES light came on, and my car felt like it quit moving for just a second. Then my SES light turned off. Any thoughts?

You can always go to Auto Zone and get it scanned. That's always a good starting point.

I believe the SES light is only linked to the emissions aspects. Start looking at the ignition system/ O2 sensors, etc. Couple of years ago my SES light would flicker a couple of times a week. Found out, it was a chaffed MAF wire?

I had this too. The car would give one big "chug" while driving, then the SES light would come on, and be back off within 10 seconds. It would be fine for another 15 miles or so. Pulled the code, it related to the MAF (I forgot the exact code), and the mechanic looked closely at the MAF and determined that the pigtail going to it, was a touch stretched. I bought a new pigtail, soldered it on, and have been code free for a good long time now.

well

did it flash more than just once at a time, IF so that is from a miss fire, I would check your fuel presure and maybe change ur filter and check your plug wires
