well i don't know what to do. my car is throwing 3 codes, 2 that will ge fixed with my new PCM, but the 3rd i dont know WTF is wrong with it.

i dont have the exact code on me right now but i have a CAN link chip malfunction, i was told that was my !CAGS. second i have a EGR malfunction, i removed it, and third i have a MAF malfunction, open circuit or short or something. how do i check to see if its working? or figure out how to fix it, that would make my car run like crap right? i get horrible gas milage. i figured with the OBD1 kit it would fix everything.

any thoughts?

 

You might want to get the exact codes... there are several for the EGR (flow, solenoid, etc.) and several for the MAF, so its hard to diagnose without the code. Not sure what a "CAN link chip malfunction" is or how it relates to the skip shift feature. Skip shift is driven directly off one of the PCM pins, not a "chip".
