SES light on. Code 32- EGR recirculation?

Just driving around today the light came on so I checked the scanmaster and found code 32. Then turned the car off and back on and the light went away. What does this mean? Time to delete the EGR?

Sounds like the ERG is not operating properly or is stuck, but i'm not the expert on code readings. You could delete, i would just replace it myslef.

Would keeping it help anything? I mean my car is already passed emissions for the next 2 years.

Could this also be the cause of a slight stumble at idle?

If your EGR is stuck open it could cause a rough idle. If you really wanted to keep your EGR, you could pull the EGR valve and clean it with some carb cleaner, that may do the trick. Otherwise the EGR really isn't necessary other than for emissions.

What do you need to do to delete the EGR? Do you have to reprogam the computer?

No matter what year car you have, you'll need 3 block off plates, 2 for the intake manifold and 1 for the header/manifold. If your car is OBDII, you will have to have it programmed out.

Consider it gone. Anyone got a link to where I can get the blockoff plates? I have seen them before.
