ses light

Have you seen this problem before i have 94 firebird v8.dealer check it they said no codes were found .ses light come on both fans,i have change both o2 sensors,new gm distributor.When i change the o2 sensor two years ago the light came on but may be once or twices no problem. one year ago i put in a new distributor an the light on all the time an both fans my second catalytic converter is bad.

Welcome to the board. If your SES light is on and both fans are constantly on, then you should be showing a code when your PCM is scanned by the dealer. You can try resetting the PCM by disconnecting the battery or pulling the PCM Bat Fuse.

You may want to take a moment and edit your original post or post again to ask specific questions.

Also you should take a moment to create a signature file to let everyone know more about your car. Include the year, engine, transmission, and any known modifications.

There should be a code or a history code. Also, you mentioned you second cat was bad. Is this the second cat you have replaced, because on the 94, it only had one cat in the y-pipe from the factory.

i purchase a scanner an got a code 26. so i replaced the canister purge solenoid no more ses light
