Does anyone know the thread size so I can plug it. It's leaking out of the connector and I'm not spending 32 dollars for a new one. I already tried rtv and its leaking again. Thanks.

I bought one from Canton because I did away with the level sensor, but later I read on this board that someone found the same size plug (20 mm) at Autozone as an oil pan drain plug for some unknown vehicle.

 

That is an accurate statement. Just ask for a 20mm drain plug.

 

Yeah, and if they don't know what to look for, tell them to look it up under a diesel engine, some are 22mm (which plug the 5/8" hole in stock manifolds for air fittings) and some are 20mm, depending on year/motor.
