SES and fans come on randomly

Every once in a while my SES light will come on and the fans come on with it, both of them on high speed. I dont have freescan working yet so I cant check it. I deleted AIR and EGR stuff, I think it has something to do with that. Its started coming on more frequently since the warm weather, oh and I dont think its the coolant cuz that light doesnt come on. Any ideas?

You either need to program out the EGR or plug in the relay that has the two vacuum lines on it that connect the the EGR valve on the back of the intake.

Removing the AIR stuff might have caused it. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. The SES light and cooling fans would come on exactly when the AIR pump was supposed to kick in. It turned out to be a blown AIR pump fuse.
