Go to Autozone and have it scanned and you'll know definitely. There's only about 150 things it could be

It's a 95, I assume you'd go upto your car parts store and ask for a OBD 1 Scanner.

Re: Service Engine Soon??

When I first got my 96 Z28, I drove it home, then took it out the following day and the light came on.... first thing I did, was reset it by disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes. Fired the car back up, and no light for about a week. Then it came on again... it was one of the O2 sensors (diagnostic equipt at my local garage) replaced it and I was on my way.... about 2 months later I got the light again after messing around and trying to drift the car on a highway exit ramp... the car was running like crap, I ran it back up to the garage, and it had 2 dead cylinders..... further inspection showed that two wires popped off mid-drift..... Anyways... put them back on and the car ran better than before.... Just this morning, about 6 months later it is lit up again.... car runs fine,I think its going to be another O2 sensor... because, when the wires jumped off last time, it had an 02 error code, which did "inform".... So in a nut shell, it could be almost anything...like the other people said, take it, hook it up to a machine (by someone you trust so you dont take one up the pooper on "neccessary" parts) and let the computer tell you what is wrong with itself....

DustinZ28:

You might want to add basic info about your car by adding a "signature" with year, tranny and any major mods. That helps people give you a more accurate answer to your questions.

According to another thread it's a 95 Z LT1 M6, I would assume mostly stock.
