Exhaust Questions - Debating LM
Exhaust Questions - Debating LM
I currently have BBK Shorties, ORY, Flowmaster 40 (Where the cat was), then Straight Piping all the way back, over the axel, designed just like a LM.
Now, I'm assuming a Flowmaster 40 Isn't exactly helping my performance, and where its located it's giving too much interior noise (Causing rattles b/c its too close to floor?)
My dad think its sounds great (and it does) and is trying to persuade me not to change my exhaust setup.
I was thinking about getting the LM Bullet muffler and putting it right before the axel then welding in straight pipe and maybe a cut-out where the flowmaster 40 is.
Any $0.02? Will it sound about the same? Performance Gain? (small, I know)

Re: Exhaust Questions - Debating LM
loudmouth sounds like poop lol....its ungodly loud, and its a cop attracting exhuast. I had the loudmouth on my car and it was ok when i had cats and manifolds, but once i got longtubes and no cats, it sounded horrible....get a regular catback ie: hooker, flowmaster, or magnaflow; then throw a cut-out in

Re: Exhaust Questions - Debating LM
I LOVED the sound of my LM before I added headers and an orp, and afterwards it was too loud for me. If you are talking about adding the LM resonator to your I-pipe and keeping your flowmaster muffler, but adding a cutout, that may work. However, switching to a LM only would be too loud IMO
