do i have a series 2 or 3 carrier? i have a 1995 trans am, single cat. thanks.

 

You need to find out first what rear end gear you car has right now from the factory. Best way to tell is go look at your shifter. If there is no selectable 1st gear then you have the dreaded 2.73s like I had. If the shifter has 3 2 and 1, then I think you have the 3.23's.

So if you car has 2.73's from the factory, your car will have a series 2 carrier. If it has 3.23's then it will be the 3 series carrier. Hope this helps.
