Exclamation Sensor on back of intake manifold??

hey all,

Can someone tell me what that sensor on back of intake manifold is? I accidently broke it off when I was mounting it up on the stand

It's a '96 LT1/T56

Are you talking about the EGR? I believe it's a copper color.....

Well, it's about 3 inches long (before I broke it :P) silver, with a black plastic plug on the end :P I know it's not the EGR tube...heh

i believe your talking about the oil pressure sensor.does it mount to the block with a elbow.if it does thats what it is.it just supplies the dash gauge with your oil pressure reading.

yes, I believe it does do a 90 degree direction change, and lines up parallel to the manifold. Excellent, Thanks!
