Getting your LT1 into the low 12s, or high 11s is a “many step” process. Where you do your mods, take it to the track T&T to determine what’s working and what isn’t working well. You go back home and do some more mods (drive train, suspension, engine, Etc), then back to the track. After several weeks, or often months and many trips to the track you’ll realize your efforts. Horse power along doesn’t make low ETs, all aspects of the car have to work together. For example; if your car doesn’t launch correctly (hook-up), you will never make full use of the HP created.

Cam only LOW 11 second LS1s are far and few between...the guys that do, have a lot of money into their cars.

exactly, i have a friend who has a low 11 sec cam only ls1. and it has a lot more then a hot cam, shorties, 17" drag radials and a cheap *** tci converter.
