My security light kept comming on so I disabled the V.A.T.S. I was told that this should keep the passkey from making it come on. Well now it is still comming on and I cannot figure out why. Does anyone else know?

F!@# that, unplug the connector at the base of the steering wheel with the orange wrapping on it. Measure the chip in your key to see what the resistance is. Go to Radio Shack and buy the resistor closest to the chip value. Now put it in the connector that goes to the PCM, not the side that goes up to the steering wheel. Tape it up and be done with that problem.
