Alright, maybe i'm a moron, but i can not figure out how to pull guage bezel off the firebird without scratching everything up. I just painted it so i'm worried i'm going to ruin everything i did. Any advice. Should some things come off the steering wheel??

 

I had the same problem, so I kind of gave up on that for now. It's such a pain...

 

i had to carefully force mine in there tilting the steering wheel and manouvering it around, but it was still a pain...

 

I just found out you can unscrew the tilt **** and pull that plastic off.
