might want to look into the ltcc, i just did this mod on my 95 and my lt1 has never run this smooth.
I got a set of ls2 coils takeoffs with the harness, i had an issue with the thing backfiring when i 1st put it together but found that the factory coil harness was on backwards, instead of it firing order on the drivers side being 1357, it was 7531
I used a washer the samethickness as the rotor base and just ditched the rotor all together, the ltcc takes the spark out of the opti and the only thing the opti will be used for is the timing trigger.
I am a picky sob so if i say a mod is worth doing...its worth doing
