Seatbelt dash light won't shut off.

I've heard of this problem before, the contact or button or whatever inside the seat belt latch won't make contact to shut off.

I jiggled the seat belt around in it and the light would flicker on and off, so I figure thats the problem.

Anyone got a fix for it, other than taking apart the dash and removing the seat belt light all together?

Thanks!

I think there's a plug under the drivers seat that will turn the light off permanently.

Yeah there is a plastic plug underneath the seat, just undo it and it will never come on again.

Ahhhhh, thats what that plug was.....

I moved up the seat, and saw a connection unplugged. Of course then this problem came up. I must of had the problem before and unhooked it, and just not remembered it.

Thanks guys!
