seat belt lock

seat belt lock

the mechanism thats supposed to lock your seatbelt when you step on the gas went out how do i fix it?

It should lock when you step on the brake not the gas. It is forward inertia activated (or some crazy thing like that). If it's not, locking then expose it and see if it's dirty , dry or rusty. Then take appropriate action.

i meant the brake. how do i get behind there i dont see any screws?

There's one screw holding the Coat hook on. One screw down by the floor behind the front seat. Put the back seat down. Remove the rear quarter with the hatch open. There's one behind the back seat when you let it down you should see it. It's also the seatback cushion lock. I think that's it.
