I have the Fel-Pro water pump gaskets, do I need an sealant? Or just put it on dry?

 

I usually use a small amount on the gasket just to stick the gasket to the pump. If you use it make sure you stick the gasket to the pump and not the block so when or if you have to remove the pump again the gasket will stay with the pump and not the block. This makes it easy to clean the gasket surfaces next time

 

I've used RTV too with good results.
