trying to replace the water pump on my 95 firebird. the rubber o seal is on the water pump but it does not have a second one for the shaft. i did not see one when i pulled it off. one guy told me it did not matter. i would rather find one and put it on. any idea where i could find one?

 

The water pump driveshaft seals are GM PART # 12553792. I don't know that a local auto supply store stocks a replacement.
