sea foam

Hey Members,
Just dropped my oil pan on my LT1 and noticed a lot of
varnish stains on interior block surface. I never used sea foam before, but
do you think this additive is effective on these engines? P.S no other motor
issues at all.

Hmmm not sure I've heard people's different opinions on seafoam,good n bad. In my opinion I don't think too much good things about it

There is a video on u-tube on this when a guy took a brand new lawn mower out of the box and ran sea foam through it.Good watching.If it ain't broke,well you know the rest.(Hope this helps.

There is a pretty good video by Chris Fix on YouTube where he uses a camera to look into the cylinders to see the results.

you can take seafoam and unplug brake booster let it suck from there and it cleans the upper system valves etc works very well

also they make a slugde cleaner forgot the name will have to check tomorrow but it is awesome you pour in run engine at idle then change oil but works wonders seen with my own eyes but if engine has a lot of sludge it can clog the oil screen
