http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?act...=1580&pid=8137

what do you guys think?...i was gonna have my LT4's "hogged out" aswell as my carbed intake...i havent gotten a chance to talk to them yet but what would you guys spin this to....i was thinking of a 847 or a little bigger...the valve train will be top notch....also havent decided on whether or not to go solid roller...

itll be a mostly street driven car, track time and road racing.....it probly wont be my daily driver anymore, but well see about that

Thanks guys
Rob

Might want to check out www.nu-tekmotorsports.com as well. Their prices are comparable.

But from what I've read here the delivery time might not be.

yes the dragonslayer is 4340. i would have to suggest the SDPC engine as it seems Nu-Tek is having some problems delivering engines in a timely manner (like 1-2 years).

ok guys...aside from the waiting issue, which parts are stronger/better...both cranks are 4340 and both rods are forged...
Which would YOU buy...i know that lunati is a very respectable and reputable company as is callies and eagle...bottom line is what parts are stronger....

seems what ive heard is that nutek puts more time on makin there web site pretty then customer satisfaction...but i want to know what parts are stronger...

Thanks for the replies guys and keep them coming

well, the lunati is a 1100 crank and the dragonslayer is Callies "entry" level, both being 4340 they are the same strenght, but the Lunati "should be machined" better and might be lighter.

Lunati Pro mods are stronger then the eagle h beams, and i believe can handle slightly more hp

out of the 2 you first talked about,i say go for scoggin dicky,Nutek has a 4 page thread going about how they have taken thousands from people and have had engines for 2 years.......i'd be damn weary of sending them anything.
