can someone please figure my scr and dcr on my 383. I am getting different numbers with different calculators Here are the specs.383 with 1074 head gasket,5.85 rods,flat top pistons with -5cc reliefs,piston is .005 down in the hole,3.75 stroke,4.030 bore and 60cc heads and cc306 cam thanks

 

What is the intake valve closing point on the cam card?

When I run it through this site.

I get 13.1 SCR and 9.75 DCR

 

Hope this is not correct any others come up with the same numbers?

 

Static compression: 11.55:1

If you install the cam straight up (no advance or retard, already has 4* ground in):
Dynamic compression: 8.61:1

4* advanced:
Dynamic compression: 8.92:1

4* retarded:
Dynamic compression: 8.28:1

I added the last two in case you have a Cloyes timing set...it'll allow you to go 4* either direction.
