Scat stuff?
Scat stuff?
I have a new stroker motor (LT1) laying around and I thought about using it for a street car. Scatt 9000 crank (stroker 383), scatt I-beam rods, J&E pistons (-24cc), 224 @ 560lift @ 114cent supercharger cam, AFR type heads ported, and procharger (14#).
Any concerns with the Scatt Stuff? I have another backup motor out of the race car (355 all forged stuff) but has less CID and may be over kill on street.
Opinions please.

Re: Scat stuff?
I have a forged scat crank and pistons, they work fine in my engine and I havn't had a problem yet. The weather out here has been so damn cold though. Roughly around the 20's now so she starts up in a jiff and idles nice once she is warm. Im happy with the parts I got.
Re: Scat stuff?
Thanks everyone...I already have the long block with the J&E pistons and stuff, I just wanted to use it in a street project so it would not just sit and rust.
