ok, i just installed my lt1 scanmaster, and it's not coming on....

for one, i got it from tbyrne motorsports, and it just says "scanmaster", not "scanmaster lt1" is this normal?

secondly, i think its hooked up alright, but it must not be...

could you simply plug the 3 stripped leads into their respective places in the adl connecter to test it? this is pissing me off, someone please help....

also, does anyone know what the different wires are for a 4 wire adl on a 94 obd1 car? I think black and white is the data stream, orange is power, and then the one to the left of the data is the ground? does that sound right?

Still no luck, Im begining to think that this may not be the right scanmaster.....

is anybody familiar with this? do new scanmaster lt-1's now just say "SCANMASTER"?

 

Scanmasters for LT-1 say "LT-1" on the display plate. There is a chance you were accidentally sent the wrong version.
