Sawtooth dyno graph

I finally got the text file from my dyno tuner with all the data in it for my dyno tune and put it into Excel. When I graph the HP & TQ it is very choppy. The Excel file can be found Here

What would cause a graph to look like this?

Here is the original thread about it. The numbers after the dyno tune were 349.3HP @ 6000 & 323.8 TQ @ 5250 on a Mustang Dyno.

My first dyno was choppy as well....much worse than yours actually...that was traced to an ignition problem.

Do you still have the dyno graph? The link on the other thread is broken.

That's an interesting thought about an ignition problem. I am running a MSD Digital 6+ for use with the NX wet kit. I am changing the spark plugs right now, so I will see how they look.

I didn't have the original scan of the dyno graph, so I took a picture of it with my digital camera and the link in the other thread now works.

I was going to say knock retard, until I saw the graph. I agree with the ignition suggestion... including the opti...

I just got done changing the spark plugs from TR55 to TR6 and 1-5 looked pretty clean, but 6-8 were pretty brown and the tip that the plug wire presses onto wasn't screwed down tight. Do you think that could have an effect?

I can post a picture of the plugs if you want to see them.

Thanks.
