do lt-1's use standard 350 pistons?

The entire rotating assembly (for one piece rear main seal sbc) will fit. So the answer is
Generally YES.
Now if your looking at 13.5 to 1 pop-up pistons (dome, pop up whatever) they may not fit due to the lt1's small combustion chambers

Same bore size but LT1 use a Mahle lightwieght hypertetic piston, with not much skirt.

The rotating assembly is lighter on the LT1 like was said above - the pistons are lighter and hense the crank has more weight removed. If you try and use standard weight pistons you will have to add metal to the crank.
