p/n's 08-306-8 & 07-306-8

these are the comp cam 306 cam p/n's. the 08 is apparently for the TPI 350 and the 07 is for the LT1. Is it the "exact same" cam just different number?? can i use a 08-306-8 cam in my LT1??

 

The cams are different, for the optispark, there is a dowel pin... and maybe another difference? But I do not believe that you can use the TPI cam in the LT1

 

You answered your own question. The 08 cam is not an LT1 replacement cam. The lobe specs may be the same, but the machining on the nose of the cam is not.
