Saggy motor mounts? how to tell

Ok here is the deal, I just installed RK Sport headers, off road pipe, and hooker cat back. (btw sound great, calm at idle and cruise but screams at WOT) But on the passenger side, the flange on the header is hitting on the part of the front "frame" (maybe the k member) when the engine vibrates hard. So would new motor mounts lift the engine any or at least enough to give the collector flange a little more clearance? The mount have almost 150k miles on them so i'm sure they are worn but would it be that much?

Or should I just get a good pry bar and bend the header a little bit?

i had some clearance issues with my headers, changed over to poly motor mounts and it solved the problem, mine were really saged after 70K miles.

Were you able to put the ply mounts on WITHOUT removing your headers, I had problems with some spark plugs that I don't want to remove unless I am putting on new heads.

im not sure about installing them with headers on, i did mine while doin headers. IMHO i would not bend the header. changin the mounts should do the trick. also now when i rev my motor is doesnt rock in the engine bay, it rocks the car a little
