Safety Switches

Is the clutch safety switch also referred to as the neutral safety switch or are the two different things? And if they are different or the same where are they actually located on a f-body.

yes...they are the same thing...but different. One for a manual and one for a Auto.

on a manual it is mounted on the clutch pedal housing so that when you press the pedal it hits the switch and pushes it in.

So it's actually inside the car by the clutch petal on a manual transmission car?
