Safe to start car after 6 weeks?
i know this isnt the same thing were talking about but for winterizing my seadoo you fog the cylinders, i know you wouldnt do that on the car probly for just that period of time but anyways thought this was kind of interesting it says when prepping it for use in the spring to crank the engine over by hand like by turning the impeller before you start the engine, so if you wanted you could take the 4 screws out of the tc cover and crank the flywheel over by hand a bit, well anyways just something i read and thought i would share, not sure if it would help any but yea, good luck.
6 weeks? Bleh. That's nothing. My car went for 6 months without starting while I did the "longest cam install in the universe"... cranked up the first time.
Like others have said, let it do a full warm-up cycle and drive it around... My car sits for 2-3 weeks at a time sometimes between uses, and I always let it do a full warm-up, and I usually take it somewhere down the road for a drive.
