Safe RPM levels

What is a safe RPM level I should stay below when revving my engine in park, and also at WOT.

I wouldn't go over 3-4k rpms in neutral/park. as long as there is load on the engine you should be fine.

Messing around I've gone up to the red line more than I should have, but thats defiantly not good for it. Chain might jump a sprocket or something on the cam.

yeah same here, and after my harmonic balancer went and my belt almost flew off, no more of that.... i thought my flex plate was grinding against something thats how bad the vibrations were when it slipped
