SA rockers with guideplates
Just for the record they will not bind if you have LT1 guideplates.
I just got my replacement set of non SA rockers from CM today and installed them. I had recieved a set of mixed rockers which were screwd up out of the box from comp so i had to ran guideplates and 5 SA rockers. None of the rockers showed any signs of excessive tip wear and there was sufficient play at the tips. Some of the SA without the guideplates showed more marking on the tips.
Now if you use standard SBC guideplates whic apparently are spaced very slightly differently but are close enough to work with non SA, then i could definitly see binding as a potential/likely problem.
There isn't really any reason to run both SA and guideplates so this thread is kinda pointless. I just wanted to share my experince since i've seen more than one thread recently where someone warned against running both.
