Running ROUGH after driving HARD!

To start... it has an new Opti/plugs/wires/ICM is "newer"... Only thing original or "older" is the coil...
Bought the car with these new parts...
I can drive around and it drives fine but when I WOT it starts to "break up" around 4500rpm's and up. its not at a certain rpm, its different everytime and it seems to get worse the longer the car runs or the hotter the car is?
And after I drive it HARD it just out of nowhere starts running like crap, like its on 4 cylinder. I have no power, and at idle it doent really want to rev. And most the time it "diesels" till it dies! Then it wont start....
I usaully unplug the coil wire from the coil and the opti. And plug it back in and it will start. I've tested the coil wire with an ohm meter, tested ok.
car is not setting any codes

What do you think!

fuel filters "go out" on every car, it is like an air filter it gets dirty and you need to change it.

if that does not fix your problem a fuel gauge taped to the windshield would help you determine if your problem is actually fuel related

Its an item that requires periodic maintenance just as plugs, wires, the air cleaner, ect.

I was driving down the interstate next to a friend in a Cobra, we raced(for fun) he pulled away of course, but it started to do its spitting and sputtering... so I quit...
We get to where we're going and I roll down the street to see the end of a good race, I give it HELL on the way down there and it doesnt spit and sputter...
So I do it again on the way back, still doesnt do it.
So I go back and ask a friend to race me(M6 LS1 Trans Am) I spun, He hooked, He beat me by one car....Anyways...
And it runs GREAT! On the way home it doesnt do it for about 10 mins on the hwy but after I criuse for about 20 mins it start doing it again

I beginning to think its a "WARM" thing...
