When i first start my car up in the morning or after letting it set long enuf that it is in closed loop it runs noticable stronger.
I am pretty sure this is due to the o2 reading right?
I have a small leak in my slip-fit on my headers. Would just a small leak make this much diffrence?

Second question If i unplug my o2's will my car stay in closed loop if not how do i make it. or is there a better way to make it stay in closed loop?

What will be the bad side of unplugging my 02's?

 

unplugging you o2 will make your car run like a honda civic..and you dont want that....my driver side o2 was out like yesterday and counldnt figure out what the problem was then i checked my o2 and replaced it and now it runs bad ***, most liklely you o2 sesnors....get them replaced...

well..it ran like a turd...when the car was cold it would run ok till it it started to get warm..then it would start to idle weird like jumping from 700-900 rpms, and making my oil pressure go up and down, and making my voltage act retarded...then if i tried to drive it would run like crap..would barely give it gas and it felt like it was going to die, simualr to a opti spark going out...and if i gave it half throttle, WOW, it would become a screwed up car...hesitating, bogging, feeling like its about to die, out of gas, etc etc...
then repalced it and BOOM she was brand new...

I belive open loop is when the car is cold, then closed loop means the car is warm...i think. not too sure about that,

 

thats right open is when the car is cold and closed is when it is warmed up.

But what tells the car it is warmed up..I am guessing the 02 temp does. That is why i wanted to unplug them.

Well i am just going to start a new thread asking how to diganose a bad 02

a bad o2, will cause a SES light and make the car run liek crap...
jsut spend the moeny and replace them and you wotn have n e problems...
