running larger injectors than needed. any disadvantage?
My new setup is N/A and i am shooting for a power range of 400-425 RWHP. I was advised to get something around a 36 lb/hr injector but i have come across some racetronix 42 lb/hr injectors for sale. as long as i have the PCM mapped accordingly, will this cause any problems. i am running stock fuel pressure through the stock fuel pressure rails with a walbro 255 L/hr pump at the moment.
Thanks,
Brandon

my cam is a 236/242 .608/.576 on a 111 lobe and the target idle is set at 1000 rpms. it seems to have trouble ideling with the 36/lbers i have now. they are accel injectors and i would really like to get rid of them though.

Lots of other people have run 37-42# on a stock engine in anticipation of upcoming H/C work without problems.
yea i know...i didnt start hearing all the complaints about them until after i bought my set....oh well i can always try to sell them on ebay.
i think i might give racetronix a call and see what they have to say
