Running big cam on stock heads?
Running big cam on stock heads?
Was going to pull heads and have them ported, but after every other expense, it's not going to be financially possible at this point. Lotta cash has been dropped so far as it is. I was wondering if running a big cam, like..
239/245 duration, .577"/.576", 112lsa
That one on stock heads would be bad. Would I still see a good gain from it, or would it be useless?
I will be upgrading my valve springs, retainers, etc... I'll be using stock flowing heads though.
