running 15w50 mobile 1

i'm assuming since i'm using a higher viscosity oil that my oil pressure is going to be a little higher. it averages at about 75% to max pressure for the first 5-10min and then averages down to about 50% pressure after that. i'm using the higher viscosity because i live in florida and with these hot days here, i'd like to make sure my engine is lubed. i know some other people out there use it too. does the oil pressure numbers look similar? and also, is this putting too much stress on my oil pump running at these pressures? i could always bump down to 10w30. this is my first time using the 15w50 (mobile 1 of course) and just wanted some thoughts on this. thanks.

Try the 0w40, you might like it better. Those numbers seem about right.
