runnin on 6 or 7 cylinders?

Uhm...When my optispark got wet after a heavy rain when my car was outside, it did the same popping stalling spitting ****. It dried out and it was gone. So...my only suggestion...was your car in the rain or did you just wash it?

I have no clue about the ses blinking with a misfire, because mine is OBD1 AND it is on anyways because of an 02 sensor that is off. no clue

Get it scanned. You could have more codes than you think.

Try putting new spark plugs in. Its cheap enough.

I had the exact same problem, I needed to replace the coil pack. Hope that helps
