Guys, this is pertaining to my g/f's sentra SER.A shop had to replace the oil pan cuz being the dumb girl driver she is, ran over a curb. But they used the wrong sealant(orange permatex) and the stuff is all gooey and losing its seal so its leaking oil. There is no oil pan gasket, already called Nissan. Which RTV will hold the best? the blue/grayish stuff? I havent used it in a couple years and couldnt remember.

 

Black. I used to own a Sentra and have done the oil pan on it. I used Orange back then with no problems, but Black is best.

 

thanks man! ill get the black. We have had nothing but problems with this shop. Hopefully this will take care of it, later!

 

Right Stuff, it's a black silicone sealant.
