RTV for new shifter install

Going to put in my 5.0, what's the best RTV sealant to use for this, and where did you get it?

Just any RTV will do, I used the copper stuff, just a tiiiiny bead is enough cause the two parts are machined and have a very tight clearance.

yeah i used the red stuff. Seems to work pretty good. Just make sure to put some thread locker on the bolts.
