RTV all around rear main (picture)
Pulled clutch and flywheel to reveal a bunch of RTV around the rear main seal (which I was planning to replace anyway). What should I do with all of that RTV?

Nothing, if it is not leaking, IMHO. You won't need to touch it, if just replacing the RMS.
