RPM activated cut out?

I was thinking, it would be a good idea if some one had there electronic cut out switched on at higher rpms automaticly say 3,500 to 4,500 RPM. also connect at least a resonator to the cutout.

You could probably somehow rig up an MSD RPM activated window switch, may need to wire it up to a relay, not sure how much the cutout's pull or the switch can handle...

I thought of something like that, it would give you your torque out of the hole and more hp the top end

He took off the CAGS cause he is a M6. That is a skip shift eliminator.

Hmm..I knocked off a .10 my last time at the track by keeping the cutout closed till a little past the 60' then I started opening it as I went down the track...DEFINATLEY makes a HUGE difference!

Yep. Mines the 2.2k ohm resistor, the $.20 skip shift eliminator, not the rip off ones they sell.

But with a 6spd or a larger stall, you'd probably see more torque off the line with a cutout open. I could see how keeping it closed for a short while might help a stock stalled car at low rpm though.
