roller rockers, P.R. length, noise

I have a set of crane race alum 1.5 RR's on a 94 TA, cc305 cam and a bunch of boltons. My question is, are the stock length pushrods ok to use or do I need to check? Ive read that there is no way to tell as each engine is different, but how is that, isnt an LT1 an LT1 and if you had the same setup on another LT1 you might still need different pushrods? That blew my mind and didnt sound right to me. Can anyone clear that up?
Second of all I hit my rev limiter a few times and I now have a ticking problem from the valvetrain and im guessing I either bent a pushrod or damaged a lifter, possibly bent a rocker? Has anyone had problems with alum. roller rockers "loosening up" or are they pretty much set 'em once and forget 'em? the noise didnt start right after the over-rev. by the way. Where do you think I should start?

First of all you can use stock pushrods, some people like for that to be their weak point so that the rods will break in any event rather then messing up their other valve train parts. I think your problem is that you have a loose rocker, when you do some high reving it can shake some stuff loose and I check mine all the time. If you just installed this then this would be the case if you ask me.
