Roller rockers

1. do i have to take the intake off to do these?
2. is there anything else i should do at the same time?
3. what kind of gains can i expcet?
4. what brand to go with?
5. how big 1.7 1.8?


i think thats it if theres anything else i should know let me know thanks alot

1. You should not have to pull the intake
2. Probably need to upgrade the valve springs, and a lot of people recommend doing new valve seal also.
3. Anyones guess here. I've seen gain numbers that range all over the place
4. Lots of good brands, just pick one that works for you. Mine are Crane
5. I would go with 1.6 unless there is some reason you want to go bigger. 1.8 seems way to big.

Brands, doesn't really matter. They all seem to do the job (I like my Pro-Mags though). I would upgrade the valve springs and get 1.7rr's.

I have 1.6 SA Pro Mags, and they seem like a very quality product. Why do you want to go with a 1.7 or 1.8? You'll probably see around 10HP from the rockers.
