Re: roller rocker
You can use roller rockers. There is a knock module that can be changed out in the PCM to remedy the situation and filter out a lot of 'false knock' caused by roller rockers. Get some rockers, get the LT4 knock module (~$30) and you're good to go. If you go non-self aligning which is the better setup, you'll need hardened pushrods, GM gideplates and if you want to, 7/16" rocker studs to go with 7/16" NSA rockers. That or you can stay 3/8" like stock. The part number to the LT4 KM is literally everywhere on this site so you can search for it with ease, that or the member "shoebox" has that and nearly every other part number on his site that you'll ever need.

Re: roller rocker
or...you could go rockers with the carbon covers on stock vettes...while you're taking the covers get the rockers too. you dont need guideplates if you get the self aligning rockers, but you'll need high end SA rockers like crane gold race or what i suggest...pro mags.
