I bought a set of Comp cams roller rockers.... they are the 1.52. My question is if i change my stock ones for these will they add any performance etc.... I thought that they were 1.6's but found out that they were 1.52's...

 

Any performance gain would be very slight but just having roller rockers is better than the stockers in my opinion.

 

before putting in the rockers, is it necessary to upgrade the valve train....(springs etc)

 

No but depending on how many miles you have you might want to any way.

You can buy just one pushrod from Combination Motorsports. The cheap hardened ones are like $4 each.

 

That's only needed if he was going with a 1.6 rocker. The stock springs will be fine with the rockers that he has now.
