which Rod and main bearings for stock lt1 short block.

What are the best bearings to go with for a Stock short block rebuild. Also what rings should I wrap around the stock piston for nitrous use?
Part # 's and where to buy from would be killer!!!!
Thanks,
Steve

Well then who makes a good piston that is the stock size? Something to handle a 150 - 200 shot. Part numbers???

The stock LT1 piston is very good and can take a 150hp nitrous hit.

If you do want to re-ring, then Mahle makes the stock replacement rings, (they make the OEM piston and the OEM rings). I cannot recite a part number but it's in the Mahle catalog.

Agree, nothing wrong with the stock pistons for anything other than boost, very high rpm (7,500+) or large nitrous shots.
