Rod knock, need info on a new shortblock
I'm weighing all my options.
Long story short, I'm trying to sell my TA. I had to rebuild the tranny, now I'm looking at new motor. Reason why is because I'd have to take a HUGE hit on the price without it, versus losing a small amount of doing a freshened motor.
The only quote I've gotten for a complete long block was 3850$ CDN. That's more than I can afford. Now, I don't think I'll need a complete long block. All I'm looking for is a short block with 0 miles on it.
I need some good places to get quotes from on a shortblock, preferrably in the sub 2000$ CDN range. Thanks!
